25 Questions to Ask Yourself Before the End of 2013
I decided to fill it out and share it with all of you!
1. What am I most proud of this year?
I am most proud of the connections I’ve made to my own self, life purpose, my core facilitators, my friends, my family, dolphins, cats, and my dreams. I am proud of the growth of Pure Fin and the magnitude and worth of the healing environment we’ve created.
2. How can I become a better _____________?
I will go deeper into myself. I will trust more. I will react less. I will listen more. I will let go of expectations. I will be easier on myself. I will hold myself in highest honor. I will see more beauty in every being. I will love more.
3. Where am I feeling stuck?
As a bodyworker and someone who loves to help people heal, I need to spend more time for me, creating my own healing journey, so that I can continue to complete this important shift.
4. Where do I need to allow myself grace?
I will allow myself to make mistakes and to learn. I will allow myself to breathe! I will allow others to help me! I will allow time to process and integrate. I will do what feels right to me.
5. Am I passionate about my career?
I am so passionate about my career. I love having the ability to make an impact on the lives of others. I love connecting humans to themselves. I love the process of watching their lives change. I love facilitating healing experiences with humans and dolphins in the immersion programs.
6. What lessons have I learned?
I personally believe that each day I learn something new, about myself, about the world around me, about others. I love to learn.
7. What did I my finances look like?
I do not find a connection to this question.
8. How did I spend my free time?
I spent free time with my family, my friends, my garden, my dolphin friends. I had adventures, I had relaxation, I had love!
9. How well did I take care of my body, mind, and soul?
I do take good care of myself, but I can do better. This is a life lesson I am working currently on integrating.
10. How have I been open-minded?
While there was a time in my life where I was not open minded, I am now much more open and I find that from this place I can really learn more about my own beliefs, I can also create deeper connections with others. I am open to just about anything, but I have learned this year that I don’t have to accept everything. I can make choices for myself but I don’t need to boast. I don’t need to spend time defending my beliefs. My truth is the most important, being open, allows me to see my truth most clearly.
11. When did I feel most creatively inspired?
I feel creative often. It is not often enough that I can put my creativity to production, but this is something I desire to spend more time with in 2014.
12. What projects have I completed?
I have completed many projects, but I know that the process and journey are important and life can change from moment to moment. I’m invested in my own process and the process and development of my projects. That is most important to me.
13. How have I procrastinated?
I try not to agree to complete tasks that I would not desire to do or connect with.
14. In what ways can I re-structure my time?
I like my time the way it is.
15. How have I allowed fear of failure hold me back?
Yes. But less than the year before and less than the year before that. When something is really important to me and I am invested in it, I might hold back briefly, but I trust in the universe and in myself that whatever will need to happen with happen. Above all I do believe in myself.
16. Where has self-doubt taken over?
See the above.
17. When have I felt the most alive?
I feel most alive with myself when I can just be present, with people that can be present and connected, and of course with my dolphin friends. Sharing love and energy.
18. How have I taught others to respect me?
I don’t need to teach others to respect me. They do or they don’t- that’s okay. I live in a way that I respect each individual person and creature and the earth in which we live.
19. How can I improve my relationships?
I can connect deeper to my soul and connect my soul to that of others. I can spread love more freely.
20. Have I been unfair to anyone?
I believe in resolution and letting go of the past. I believe in moving forward. I do not believe I am unfair or unjust, but I hope that the relationships with those close and far that they would communicate this and we could move forward together.
21. Who do I need to forgive?
I forgive regularly. I don’t choose to take things personally. Each person has their own truth.
22. Where is it time to let go?
Let go of barriers and obstacles.
23. What old habits would I like to release?
I would like to begin to eat only food that I myself have grown or purchased from a local farm. I would like to reduce the time I spend going to the grocery store.

25. How can I be kind to myself?
Each day, to check in with myself, meet my own needs before that of others. Receive love and gratitude as easily as I give it. See the best in all that surrounds me.
Do you have an annual self-reflection ritual? What are your favorite ways to release the old and welcome in the new?
Connecting with my friends and family. This will be the first year in many that I am away from my dear friends, but connecting to them energetically feels so positive and complete. I enjoy quiet and the sense of renewal and rebirth that come with the new year!
